About

I'm a proud father, loving husband, and all around family-first middle-age gaming whose start goes back to the early 1980's with table top pen-n-paper Dungeons & Dragons.  I'm a huge lover of horror, fantasy, dragons, wizards, and knights from afar.  I have a huge and very creative (sometimes dark) imagination and enjoy art, music, and writing.

My first dabble of gaming on a computer was text based in the likes of Zork.  My first computer, per say, was the Commodore 64 followed by the Adam, Amiga 2000, and then into my first Window's based PC (Packard Bell - I know...*gasp*).  Those were the days...endless adventures with data cassettes, 5 1/4 floppy disks (oh, when 3.5 came out, the Heaven's opened up!) and harddrives so small mobile phones today have 100x more power.

I remember my first use of the Internet as it's called today in 1995.  At first, coming from bulletin board systems (BBS's) with ANSI graphics to full color and images, it was amazing!  I didn't know what I was looking at and was so excited I had to get my own surf board and ride the waves of the future!  This was followed by endless nights in chatrooms, role-playing fantasy characters on AOL, Compuserve, Prodigy, and the early bird providers running the blessed Netscape Navigator 1.0 on floppy disk.  YES!!

Anyways, enough talking about history.  I've spent my entire life thus far in technology.  I love it a lot but it has its times when I just want to go off-grid and go out in the real world.  Well, at least we have Pokemon Go now...  *tilts head*
